When I ragequit M4carbine.net

I think I laid it all out pretty well in my post which was of course, disappeared.  They're very good at that over there along with other lapses in integrity.  I learned a lot at M4 and watched it devolve into cesspool it is.  Not saying to avoid it but there are other, better places on the internets where the staff has more integrity.  I fully expect to be banned for this blog post.

  What kicked it all off.

More spiteful shit on the part of M4carbine.net's staff

  1. Can you provide a link on the blog the post that got Jay banned? I was baffled over the whole Todd Green kerfuffle and now this with DocGKR? It is exceedingly strange.

  3. What am I missing? Jay was banned over the article? If so, then I'm not seeing the reason. And apparently I joined m4carbine late (I was under a different user name but have been around since 2010), because I have no idea who Todd Green even is....

  4. This whole thing has been a rather eye-opening experience to me. I initially missed the AAR melt-down, but caught the whole "where did it go" drama. I thought after reading the comments there some may have been overreacting, then I found the pdf on ARF... holy shit. I've always looked up to AC and was amazed and disappointing to see his first reply to Doc's AAR. I'm not ready to give up on M4C yet, but this is a heavy straw...

  5. And that's why I just do my research there and don't post shit.

    1. Exactly. I hardly post unless I have a review to share or have a very specific question. It seems like some of the users on the site live for the site and not as a resource to enhance their skills, knowledge and lives.

  6. Thanks for this entry. I've been out of the gun scene for about two years, but the random times I would pop back into M4C to revisit something, cite a statement, etc. it seemed like more and more was missing, and good, solid guys were gone or banned. At least now I know. Kinda sad. M4C was a great source of info and taught me a LOT at it's height.
